Afanasy Beloborodov - Double Hero of the Soviet Union, Genaral of the Army, During the Great Patriotic War - the Commander of the 78th Infantry Division which in November 1941 stemmed German strike at Moscow, the Commander of the 43rd Infantry corps that liberated Vitebsk from Germany occupation and took part in Koenisberg assault. During the war against Japan in August 1945 - the Commander of the 1st Red Banner Army.
